Sport Taping 2This course offers the beginner technical and practical advice for use when taping athletes. This course covers the introduction to taping techniques for ankle, finger & thumb as well as the principles and application of taping. This is ideal course for players, parents and first aiders who are taping athletes.


Builds on the basic strapping session.

Course content includes:

  • Some of the disadvantages you need to consider when applying tape.
  • Tape and tape handling
  • Principles for removing tape
  • Common taping terms
  • Priorities in taping

Taping specific to an injury:

  • Circulation
  • Functionality
  • Comfort
  • Expert advice
  • Athlete preference
  • Speed

COURSE DATE: 7th November 2015

TIME: Basic 9am -11:50am (lunch) | Advanced 1pm – 3:30pm approx

Location: Club Forster

Cost: $140 PP for both

Cost includes Basic and Advanced Taping course, all material included and Morning Tea

Lunch available at the club

Certificate of completion, given at end of course
